Dr. Grisha Ovanesian

Dr. Grisha Ovanesian is a long-time Los Angeleno who moved to Cathedral City in 2009 to pursue his private practice as a general and cosmetic dentist. After completing his bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from University of Southern California (USC), Dr. Ovanesian participated in a six month post graduate program as a clinical instructor in the USC Periodontology Department. He then went on to attain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University, where he graduated in the top 15 in his class with scholarships for his outstanding clinical achievements. Since graduating from IU, Dr. Ovanesian has gained professional experience by working for private practices and receiving invaluable practical training from highly decorated mentors.

Among his colleagues and patients, Dr. Ovanesian is respected for his integrity, honesty, and sense of accountability for his patients' health and aesthetic needs. He is known as the doctor who takes the time to educate his patients about the necessary treatments, keeping them fully informed to make wise decisions for their oral health.

Dr. Ovanesian provides each and every patient with clear instructions for pre- and post-operative care, because he knows that this can help alleviate anxiety about dental treatment. Patients also appreciate the comfort and convenience of his in-house laboratory, which allows him to pay close attention to crowns, dentures, and removable partials dentures, and make any necessary corrections promptly--usually in the very same visit!
